I’m Robin, 27 years old, and I’ve been with velpTEC since last year. I’m an open and communicative person who enjoys working with others. I find it particularly fulfilling to support and advise people. As an Educational Support Manager for business fundamentals, I guide our training participants through group discussions, study sessions, and one-on-one conversations. My background in tax and management consulting allows me to share a lot of practical experience. Often, though, I’m simply a listener, a motivator, and a sounding board.
What was your journey like with us?
I still remember clearly how the job ad immediately caught my eye because it was such a good match for my profile and interests. The application process was quick – after an initial get-to-know-you meeting and a second, more technical interview, I was thrilled to receive the job offer. Once I started, I was able to take on responsibility quickly and drive my own projects forward. For example, I independently offered workshops that went beyond the standard training curriculum. I was really pleased that I was trusted with this new responsibility.

Who has supported you the most along the way?
The whole team welcomed me with open arms from the very beginning. I was able to work independently right away, but I always knew I could ask questions and get support whenever I needed it. It’s not just a great professional collaboration; I also feel comfortable and valued on a personal level. Even with individual requests, I find velpTEC to be very flexible and accommodating. In short, we’re a really cool team, and we can talk openly about anything.

I like direct, open communication, and that’s exactly what I experience as the company culture at velpTEC. I enjoy working with people, and in my role as an Educational Support Manager, I meet new people every day. Furthermore, I truly believe in velpTEC’s training concept, which focuses on individual learning. In my previous roles in tax and management consulting, I saw firsthand how important personal, direct support is for success.
What do you like most about your work at velpTEC?
I was able to take on responsibility quickly, and I especially appreciate the hands-on mentality at velpTEC – everyone pitches in, and your own ideas are genuinely supported. A highlight for me was supporting a course graduate through her job application process. Today, she is working successfully at a firm, and we are still in touch – moments like that are incredibly rewarding. I enjoy coming to work, even in the office. No two days are the same – and that’s exactly what makes it so exciting for me.
